The first of 5 webinars to launch Men’s Health week started today, with Glen Poole doing a great job presenting on the important role friendship and connection plays in your lives.
Some incredible statistics were presented, showing the direct improvements in multiple markers of health being affected by a supportive circle.
This week is all about healthy habits and these are created and maintained significantly easier with the right mates around. If you want to eat better and drink less alcohol, achieving that with your old high school drinking and pizza buddies will be hard!
Maybe it’s time to find new friends? Time to seek new hobbies and activities that support your goal of a healthier you? Again, these new behaviors will be much easier to achieve, if you have the right team around.
It takes effort to maintain and build friendship, so do what you can to schedule some quality mate’s time each month. With all of us so busy, prioritising friendship will be important to keep us centred, supported and to add the fun factor back into our lives.
